Since their debut in 1981, the band has been releasing numerous unprecedented hits. The band’s over four decades of music have created some of the most epic and sensational singles, featured in nine critically-acclaimed studio albums. They have sold over 40 million records worldwide. They have amassed a massive following in their home country in Mexico and the U.S., as well as Spanish-speaking territories like Chile, Argentina, Spain, and many more.
Mana started gaining recognition upon the release of their self-titled third album. The effort, released in 1987, was their first major label work. Their fourth record, Falta Amor, made the charts in the U.S., peaking at number 13 on the Billboard’s Latin Pop chart and number 27 on the Billboard U.S. Latin chart. By 1992, Mana became a worldwide sensation with the release of ¿Dónde Jugarán Los Niños? The album earned a diamond certification in Mexico. In the U.S., the album features the band’s most famous song, “Oye Di Amor,” which also made double diamond status in Mexico and 12x platinum certification in the U.S.
