English stadium rock behemoth Muse comes to Oracle Arena on Saturday 9th March 2019 on the Simulation Theory Tour! Supporting the release of their '80s-inspired album of the same name, the multi-award-winning group will once again deliver fans a mind-blowing and unforgettable immersive experience – taking to the stage with brand new material and the confidence (and special effects) of one of the best live acts in the world!
English rock band Muse formed in Teignmouth, Devon in 1994. Consisting of Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums), the group released its debut album, Showbiz, in 1999 on Maverick Records. The band's follow-up, 2001's Origin of Symmetry, served as their mainstream breakthrough, launching a slew of hit singles including "New Born", "Plug In Baby" and a cover of the Nina Simone hit "Feeling Good" (written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse). Their third studio album, Absolution (2003), was the first of five consecutive UK number-one albums for the band. A highly-awarded group, the band has won two Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards and eight NME Awards throughout its career, as well as receiving the Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. Muse's eighth and most recent studio album, Simulation Theory, was released in November 2018.
